This will help us ensure your application was successfully received and reviewed. We truly appreciate your patience while we work through this issue — and thank you for wanting to help a rescue dog    — Loyal Rescue   Name/Tag#: Lottie 4805 Age: 3.5 months Sex/Altered: Female/ Spayed Weight: 6.2 lbs. Breed: Terrier/Beagle/ Chi Mix (best guess) Foster Home Location: PETERBOROUGH, ON Adoption Fee: $900.00 Temperament: Playful, curious, affectionate, eager to learn Activity/Energy Level: Puppy energy Up to date on Shots: Yes Housebroken: No, but working on it and it’s going well Crate Trained: Yes, she loves going into her crate on her own for her naps Ok with Dogs: Yes Ok with Cats: Unknown but most likely ok Ok with Kids: Yes, 6 years of age and older Origin: Shelter Release Requirements: Securely fenced yard, someone home most of the day, no kids under 6 yo, experienced dog owner   And now, a few words from me: People are always telling me how smart I am! I’m learning to come when I’m called, I sit before I get my food, and I’m doing a great job learning to go potty outside. I love my chew toys, and I love to play! I need at least one outing every day to help burn off my energy and keep my curious mind busy. When I’m tired, I go into my crate and take a nap. I also sleep in my crate at night. I love being around people and other dogs, and I always want to be right in the middle of whatever’s going on. I am a curious girl who loves to explore familiar settings. When I’m somewhere new, I can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take me long to feel comfortable and show my happy, playful personality.   And now, a few words from my foster mom: Lottie steals the hearts of everyone she meets! She quickly adjusted to our home, which includes two older dogs and kids. She is food-motivated and is responding well to learning basic commands (come and sit). She is getting the hang of going potty outside and is learning to go for short walks on a leash. Lottie has been using her crate all on her own for naps since we got her. When she isn’t sleeping, she is energetic and enjoys new scenery and smells, especially outdoors, where she can burn off her puppy energy! She loves her chew toys and will often grab a toy and curl up on whoever’s lap is closest while she chews. Lottie is looking for a forever family that understands a puppy is a lifelong commitment. She’ll need patience, consistency, positive training, and lots of love as she continues to learn and grow. With ongoing socialization and opportunities to explore the world around her, Lottie will blossom into a happy, confident companion. The time and care you invest in her now will be rewarded with years of unconditional love, loyalty, laughter, and endless cuddles from a cherished member of your family. Questions?
