My story

Available for Adoption: Meet Winston! Welcome, Winston! This gentle soul was brought to us by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who was concerned about his condition and was able to convince his owner to surrender him. Winston's coat was severely matted, dirty and was a bit thin. Thankfully the Good Samaritan did a mercy grooming on him and we are grateful. It was clear he had been neglected for quite some time & forced to live outdoors his entire life possibly used to breed.  He was so sensitive to touch that even gentle affection and kisses made him flinch. With patience, love, and proper care, Winston has blossomed into the happy, trusting dog he was always meant to be. We can't say enough about how sweet this boy is. Winston is playful, energetic during playtime, affectionate, well-mannered, obedient, easygoing, and truly a diamond in the rough.  He behaves much younger and learning what toys are and loving & learning the game of fetch He greets each day with a happy spirit and is ready to leave his past behind for a future filled with love. Winston is currently working on his basic commands such as come, sit, dance , down, off & leave it. He is crate trained and has been doing very well with potty training understanding living indoors is new to him. He is wonderful with kids, great with all dogs and should do well with cats given a slow, proper introduction. Winston has overcome so much and is now ready to find the forever family he has always deserved. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart of gold, Winston is waiting to meet you. He has had 2 vet visits, is neutered, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa, AZ. near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments.
