Garth

My story

Currently fostered Texas Garth is apx 10 years old and weighs 16 pounds but is a tad on the chunky side and could use a bit of a diet . He is very loving and sweet. Enjoys naps, a lap, some sun baths and does wonderful on little short walks. He does well with other dogs but gets a tad pernickety over his wet food or high reward treats. A feeding schedule is best for him both for the food aggression and also because of his weight. He could care less about the cats. Garth is a gentle soul that was rescued from our local shelter, adopted out, then brought back. He does need a belly band inside the home as he likes to mark but I think he can easily be trained to not do this as he is a very people pleasy dog both motivated by food and attention. He needs a committed adopter and his final resting place to call home. We really would love to see this boy with his forever family.
