My story

Saebom was rescued from the Gongju City Shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list. At the time of her rescue, she was diagnosed with heartworm disease and was also suffering from skin problems. She immediately received a full veterinary examination, was spayed, and completed heartworm treatment successfully. With proper medical care, good nutrition, and lots of love, her skin healed beautifully, her soft white coat grew back, and she made a full recovery. Today, Saebom is a healthy, affectionate, and gentle girl who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and begin a wonderful new life with her forever family. Saebom is an easygoing girl with a sweet personality. She loves people and enjoys staying close to her family. She has a calm nature indoors but is cheerful and playful when it's time to explore outside. Good with Women: Yes Good with Men: Yes Good with Kids: Yes, she has a calm temperament and gets along well with children. Good with Other Dogs: Yes, excellent. She is very social and enjoys spending time with other dogs. Good with Cats: Unknown. She has not been tested with cats. However, because of her gentle personality, we believe she could adapt well with slow, proper introductions. House Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Currently in training and doing well. Energy Level: Medium. Can be handled/touched: Yes, Saebom loves being petted, cuddled, and held. She enjoys being close to people and is a very loving companion. Barking: No Flight Risk: Like any rescue dog, Saebom should always be walked on a secure leash. She can become excited in unfamiliar places, so extra caution is recommended during walks Food aggressive: No Current Diet: Natural Core, Pet Balance, and Iskhan kibble. Walks on Leash: Yes; she may become excited at the start of a walk, but once settled she walks very well. Leash reactive to people or dogs: No Rides well in car: Yes Destructive: None. She is very well-behaved indoors and enjoys resting and sleeping. Needs a home with a yard: not necessary. Needs a home with another dog: She would be happy as an only dog, but she also enjoys having another friendly dog as a companion. Can live in an apartment: Yes; she has successfully lived in an apartment foster home and would do very well in either an apartment or a house. Please visit our website niagaradogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
