My story

GEORGETOWN, ON - Nala is a beautiful young Standard Poodle whose life changed dramatically before she even reached her first birthday. When her owner’s demanding work schedule left little time for the active, social life a young poodle needs, Nala spent much of her time waiting at home. As a result, she missed out on many of the experiences that help puppies grow into confident adults. New people, unfamiliar places, and busy environments became overwhelming for her, and her world gradually grew smaller. Thankfully, that's no longer the case. Since arriving in foster care, Nala has been discovering just how much fun life can be. With patience, routine, and gentle guidance, she's gaining confidence every day. While she's still cautious around strangers and needs time to warm up to new people, the playful, affectionate, energetic dog hidden beneath her worries shines brighter with each passing week.
