My story

Mr. Wiggles is a two-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a name that perfectly matches his personality! This happy-go-lucky guy is full of charm, loves his people, and is always ready to brighten someone's day with his goofy grin and wagging tail. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, Mr. Wiggles is settling into foster life and showing us more of his fun, affectionate personality every day. He loves being around people and is happiest when he's included in the action—whether that's going for a walk, soaking up attention, or simply hanging out with his favorite humans. We're also learning that Mr. Wiggles can be compatible with other dogs. He has successfully begun building a relationship with his foster family's small dog after slow, controlled introductions, and we're excited to see him making progress. We're continuing to learn more about his dog interactions and what type of canine companion may be the best fit for him. Mr. Wiggles is crate trained and is working on his leash and household manners. He can get a little excited and pull on walks, but his foster family is helping him learn that good things come with patience and consistency. The best part? This boy is eager to learn and eager to please his people! With positive guidance, structure, and plenty of encouragement, he's proving that he's ready to put in the work. We're still getting to know Mr. Wiggles, including his compatibility with cats, but every day in foster care is another opportunity for this sweet boy to gain confidence and show us just how special he is.
