Bane is a little over a year old and is everything you could want in a Cane Corso—gentle, sweet, and incredibly sensitive. This handsome boy found himself surrendered to the shelter through no fault of his own. Unfortunately, his previous owners were not prepared for the responsibilities that come with owning a giant breed. He didn’t have a secure yard and wasn’t fed consistently. Since joining AZ Mastiff Rescue, a proud PACC911 partner, Bane has learned all about structure, boundaries, and rules—and he is absolutely thriving! Bane knows his basic commands and loves spending time outdoors running and playing. Water is one of his favorite things, and he enjoys having female canine friends. We have not yet introduced him to male dogs, and his compatibility with small dogs and cats is currently unknown. This sweet soul would do best in a home familiar with the breed and one that enjoys including their dog in daily life. Bane is a very sensitive boy; if he is yelled at, he will simply lay down on the ground. He responds best to kindness, consistency, and positive reinforcement. He loves toys and is perfectly content entertaining himself with a bully stick for a couple of hours. Bane has a calm demeanor, a huge heart, and so much love to give. Someone is going to be incredibly lucky to call this boy family.
