My story

Ramona is a beautiful 3-year-old English Bulldog with a heart every bit as big as her adorable squishy face. She came to Sky Sanctuary as an owner surrender after struggling with ongoing gastrointestinal issues. Once she arrived in our care, we were able to get to the root of the problem and she was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD). This sweet girl has now made incredible progress and is feeling better than ever! Like many Bulldogs, Ramona also has allergies, but they are well managed, and she's thriving with the care she receives. Watching her blossom as she finally feels comfortable in her own body has been incredibly rewarding. Ramona is about to begin professional board and train, where she'll continue building her confidence, learn obedience, and develop the skills she needs to succeed in her forever home. We are committed to giving her every opportunity to become the happy, well-adjusted companion we know she can be. Her personality is impossible not to love. Ramona is affectionate, goofy, and happiest when she's close to her people. She loves attention, soaks up affection, and has a way of making everyone around her smile. She's the kind of dog who is meant to spend her days curled up beside her favorite person, enjoying all the love, comfort, and security she deserves after everything she's been through.
