My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for walk in visitors 10am-5pm 7 days a week. NO Appointments needed. Kimosabe is an adorable one-year-old Chihuahua mix with a gentle heart and a sweet soul. He may be a little timid when meeting new people, but once he knows you're safe, he forms an incredibly deep bond with his person. His quiet loyalty and loving nature make him a truly special companion. Kimosabe is a happy-go-lucky little guy who enjoys life's simple pleasures. He's very treat motivated, is learning all about toys, and especially loves long-lasting chew treats. He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs he's met in our care, and his current best friend is another small Chihuahua, so he'd likely enjoy having a friendly canine companion in his new home. He's crate trained and is doing well with his basic manners. Like many young dogs, he's still working on his leash skills and will benefit from a patient adopter who can continue building his confidence and teaching him that walks are fun. Kimosabe is looking for a loving family who will give him the time he needs to settle in and let his personality shine. In return, you'll gain a devoted little shadow who will happily be by your side through all of life's adventures.
