My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Rebecca Age: About 1 Year Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Mini Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a municipal shelter and was fortunate to find a loving home through adoption. My family has cared for me deeply, but over time they were worried that I never truly felt relaxed living in a condo. I tend to stay tense in busy surroundings, and they believe I would be happiest in a quiet home with plenty of space to explore—ideally with a friendly dog companion to help me feel even more confident. Because they love me and want what's best for me, they're hoping to find a home where I can truly thrive. I'm looking forward to beginning this next chapter with a family that can give me the peaceful environment where I can be my happiest self.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm a small, adorable dog with a soft, deer-like beauty and a sweet personality to match. I'm on the calmer side, but I still have a playful heart and love spending time with toys and dog friends. I enjoy playing with my buddies and exploring the world around me. I love being outside and going on hikes with my human, then settling down with my gentle charm. When I meet new people, I may feel a little shy for a moment, but I warm up quickly and enjoy making new friends. Once I feel comfortable, you’ll be surprised by how affectionate I am! I love to give kisses! With my cute looks, affectionate nature, and balanced puppy energy, I'm the kind of little companion who can bring both joy and sweetness into a home. If you're looking for a lovely young dog to play, and bond with, I'd be so happy to meet you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when we first meet, but a tasty treat is a wonderful way to win me over! I warm up quickly, happily accept gentle pets, and before long, you'll get to see my sweet and affectionate personality. Once we've become friends, I'll even roll over and show you my belly—a special sign that I trust you completely. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up. I haven’t been around too many kids under the age of 13, but I do well with them if they provide me with space and let me get to know them. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. I get along well with dogs of all sizes—whether they're bigger than me, about my size, or even smaller—and genuinely enjoy their company. Even if another dog tries to provoke me, I'd much rather walk away than get into a disagreement. I also feel more confident and secure when I have a canine companion by my side, and another friendly dog helps me relax and settle into new situations more easily. · With Cats: I was around cats when I was a puppy and I got along very well with them.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and going on adventures. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. Walks are one of my favorite activities, and while I enjoy staying with my person, I can get excited and pull on the leash—especially when I spot somewhere I'd love to explore. With positive guidance and consistent training, I'm continuing to develop wonderful leash manners and becoming an even better walking companion every day.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from people or other dogs. I'm a quiet companion who rarely barks. I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel I'm flexible with my potty habits, happily using both indoor pee pads and going outside for bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I may be timid of loud & unfamiliar noises, large trucks and vehicles; therefore I would thrive in an environment that is quiet with access to a private yard or nearby park.  I tend to rely on my dog friends and feel supported and would do well if I am living with other dogs as I love the company of other furry friends and it helps to build my confidence as well!     Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2781055##
