My story

Stick is a four-year-old Saint Bernard now safe in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds. This wonderful, handsome boy is looking for a forever family that will appreciate the loyal, loving companion he is. Stick does well with kids and enjoys the company of other dogs, making him a wonderful addition to many family homes. His compatibility with cats is still unknown as we continue learning more about him. He also rides well in the car, making him an excellent co-pilot for road trips, errands, or weekend adventures. This sweet boy is house trained and has been an absolute gentleman in his foster home. While we're unsure if he has previous crate training, he has shown wonderful manners in the house and has settled into foster life beautifully. While Stick is affectionate and easygoing, loud noises can be frightening for him. He'll do best with a patient family that understands his sensitive side and can help him feel safe and secure when the world gets a little overwhelming. With reassurance and a calm environment, Stick continues to build confidence and show more of his loving personality. Like so many Saint Bernards, Stick has a gentle spirit and a heart full of devotion. He's ready to trade uncertainty for a lifetime of love, comfort, and belonging. If you're looking for a loyal giant breed companion who will happily ride shotgun, enjoy family time, and become your steadfast best friend, Stick may be the perfect match. Big Hearts for Big Breeds can't wait to see this wonderful boy find the forever home he deserves.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Stick, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
