My story

When we first met Coco in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, we thought we were too late. People had called to report a small white dog lying motionless near one of the busiest roads in town. He had been living in complete neglect, struggling to survive, and had narrowly escaped being hit by passing cars. When we arrived, he didn't even move. For a heartbreaking moment, we thought he was gone. But Coco wasn't giving up. He was rescued just in time and finally received the care he had desperately needed. During his recovery, he underwent FHO surgery on his back left leg, and today he's doing incredibly well. His difficult past hasn't defined him-it has only made his gentle spirit shine even brighter. Now, Coco is everything you could hope for in a companion. He's affectionate, calm, and loves being close to his people. He gets along beautifully with adults, children, and other dogs. He's house-trained, crate-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and has lovely manners around the home. Car rides are still a little scary for him, but with patience and reassurance, he's becoming more confident every day. After everything Coco has endured, he still greets the world with kindness and trust. It's impossible not to fall in love with his sweet nature and quiet resilience. Coco has survived neglect, hardship, and one very close call. Now he's ready to leave that life behind forever and discover what it truly means to be loved. He's looking for a family who will treasure him, keep him safe, and remind him every single day that his difficult past is behind him.
