My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Jinmi Age: 6 months old Gender: Female (Spaying scheduled to be done in July) Breed: Jindo mix Color: White, Black, Brown spots Weight: 6kg / 13lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn't enough space. Thankfully, kind-hearted rescuers stepped in just in time and gave me a second chance at life. My sibling, Sanhae, was rescued alongside me, and now we're both hoping to find loving forever families of our own..   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY The staff and volunteers always compliment how sweet, gentle, and affectionate I am. During my profile photoshoot, one of my favorite things was snuggling up in the volunteers' arms and soaking up all the love and cuddles. I have such a gentle nature that sometimes my dog friends can be a little pushy with me, but I always handle it with kindness. I may need a little time to adjust to new environments, but I'm still a young girl with so much potential ahead of me. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my loving personality truly shines, and I become an affectionate, loyal girl who loves being close to my people. With a little patience in the beginning, I know I'll blossom into an amazing lifelong family member.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm a little shy when we first meet, but treats are a great way to help me come out of my shell! With a little time and patience, I warm up nicely and begin showing my sweet, affectionate side. I did wonderfully during my profile photoshoot, quickly building trust with the staff and volunteers and happily accepting their attention. I also allow myself to be picked up, making me an easy little companion once I feel comfortable. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends, but I'm more of an independent girl and prefer to do my own thing. I don't usually jump straight into play and like to take my time getting to know other dogs. I'm a true peacemaker and have a gentle nature. Even if another dog is being pushy or rude, I'd much rather walk away than get involved in any drama. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm still learning my leash manners and improving every day. I don't guard my food from people, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I'm generally a quiet pup and rarely bark. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and can potty both indoors using a pee pad and outdoors. I'm also a gentle, well mannered girl who gets along nicely with my dog friends and prefers to keep the peace.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding that I’m a young pup and will need continued socialization and confidence training as I grow into a young lady   SPECIAL NOTES Everyone who meets me comments on what a gentle, sweet girl I am. The staff and volunteers often describe me as soft-hearted, well mannered, and incredibly easy to love. Even when I'm feeling a little unsure, I always try my best and choose kindness. I'm not the type of dog who seeks attention right away, but once I feel safe, I become an affectionate companion who enjoys being close to my people. My calm, peaceful personality also carries over to my dog friends. I'm not interested in drama and would much rather quietly walk away and keep the peace. As a young girl, I still have so much potential ahead of me. With a little patience, love, and continued guidance, I'm sure to blossom into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. If you're looking for a gentle soul with a heart of gold, I might just be the perfect addition to your family.   JINMI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2779693##
