Hot Dog (20260702-01)

My story

Hot Dog was in the shelter and was not doing well - he had a lot of pent up energy, was jumping a lot and just unhappy. He has come a long way since then. Hot Dog is a good sweet boy. He does well with other dogs but better with larger dogs as he can be a little pushy with smaller dogs and unaware how big he is sometimes. He is kennel trained and great on a leash as well as potty trained! He does need a household with someone that can give him lots of direction and playtime as he needs to have clear boundaries and help keep him on the right track. Sometimes thinks he still a small puppy himself. Hot Dog wants all the snuggles and loves he can get. He plays hard and naps equally as hard. In general he loves life! He enjoys flopping around a toy rope or stuffy. And chewing a bone is prime time or running around the backyard is pure satisfaction for him! He knows sit and shake and is a Hamilton Hound Prison Program Graduate (from Georgia). Good with adults: Yes Good with kids: Yes, very sweet but does jump a lot. He is currently working on that in foster.
