My story

Suki (1.5 years old, 12 lbs., neutered) is a very affectionate, energetic little poodle looking for his forever home. He has proven to be easy-going and easy to live with, as he quickly settled into his foster home, making friends with the two dogs in the home and showering his foster parents with kisses. He prefers to be close to his people, regularly following his foster parents around the house. Suki is a high energy dog. He loves playing with other dogs, especially the 2-year old Pomeranian that lives in his foster home. He also enjoys playing with doggy toys--everything from stuffed toys to balls.  Suki walks on a leash pretty well, though it's clear he hasn't had any formal leash training. He pulls at first, but after a couple of minutes settles down. He's shown no leash reactivity, and enjoys greeting other dogs and people on his walks, though because he is high energy, he can sometimes overwhelm other dogs. It's just because he's so eager to play.  Suki is friendly with other people, including guests in his foster home, who absolutely adore him. Suki would love to have fenced yard where he can explore and play, but he used to live in an apartment, and would probably do fine living in an apartment again as long as he gets plenty of exercise and outdoor time. If you're looking for an energetic, sweet, affectionate pup who will follow you anywhere, Suki is the dog for you. Please complete the Adoption Application on our website. Due to time constraints, we cannot respond to every email asking for more information on a dog. Please carefully review the bio for the dog and our adoption process at https://www.speakingofdogs.com/adoption/adoption-process/.  If you are still interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application form at the bottom of that page.July 2, 2026, 5:42 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Suki, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
