Thanks to her rescue, I was given the chance to grow up safely, surrounded by love and care. Now I'm excited to begin my own journey and find a forever family where I can create a lifetime of happy memories.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Candle! I'm a bright, happy little boy with a heart full of love and a personality that makes friends wherever I go. I absolutely adore people, and even when we meet for the very first time, I'm more than happy to snuggle into your arms and soak up all the affection you have to give. Everyone says I inherited my wonderful personality from my mom, Sonoma, and I'm just as sweet, gentle, and cheerful as she is. I'm also a quick learner—I figured out how to "sit" in just one minute! If you're looking for a clever, affectionate little companion who will fill your home with love, cuddles, and smiles, I can't wait to meet you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love being around people! Whether we've known each other for years or we're meeting for the very first time, I'll happily come over to say hello, lean in for pets, and soak up all the love and attention you have to offer. I'm so friendly that I might even roll over and show you my belly the first time we meet—a sure sign of how trusting and affectionate I am. I'm also comfortable being gently picked up, making it easy to care for and cuddle me. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still looking forward to discovering what they're like. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. My friendly, outgoing personality helps me get along well with other dogs, and I truly enjoy making new companions. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and going for walks. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. I'm an experienced walker with excellent leash manners, so I stay close to my person, walk without pulling, and make a wonderful companion on every adventure.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from people or other dogs. I'm a quiet companion who rarely barks. I stay calm and relaxed in my kennel I'm flexible with my potty habits, comfortably using both indoor pee pads and going outside for bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I previously had surgery to repair a broken leg, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying walks, playtime, and everyday adventures.
