My story

🐾 Meet Kendall — A Bright, Loving German Shepherd Ready to Find Her People Kendall is a beautiful 15-month-old German Shepherd with a sweet heart, a playful spirit, and the kind of loving personality that makes people smile almost immediately. She is friendly with everyone she meets and has a happy, open way of moving through the world, as if she is always ready for a new friend, a fun outing, or a cozy moment with her people. At about 50 pounds, Kendall is a wonderful medium-to-large companion with a graceful shepherd look and an affectionate, people-focused nature. She loves being around humans, enjoys children, and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She is also respectful of other dogs’ space, which says so much about her gentle temperament and her ability to fit into a home with kindness and ease. Kendall is smart, attentive, and already understands basic commands. She enjoys learning, connecting, and being included in everyday life. Like many young shepherds, she has a bright mind and would love a family who will continue guiding her with patience, consistency, and love. She is currently working on her leash skills, and with encouragement and practice, she will make a wonderful walking partner for neighborhood strolls, park visits, and family adventures. What makes Kendall especially easy to love is her joyful, affectionate nature. She is playful without being difficult, loving without being overwhelming, and social in a way that makes her feel like a true family dog. She is happy, friendly, and full of love, the kind of dog who would be delighted to greet you at the door, join you outside, spend time with the kids, or relax nearby after a busy day. Kendall is indifferent with cats, which may make her a good fit for a home with feline family members as well. She has shown no aggression and brings a soft, trusting energy to the people and animals around her. Her personality is one of her greatest gifts: open, kind, and eager to be part of a loving home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, so she is ready for her next chapter. What Kendall needs now is a safe, loving family who will see the wonderful dog in front of them and give her the stability, affection, and guidance she deserves while she waits for her forever home. If you can picture Kendall as your walking buddy, your loyal shadow, your children’s cheerful companion, or the sweet face waiting happily to greet you at the end of the day, she may be the dog you have been hoping for. If you live in Ontario within 3 hours of Toronto, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com to learn more about Kendall and our foster to adopt program.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kendall, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
