My story

Meet Twiggy!At around 6 years old, Twiggy is a gentle soul looking for a patient family that will let her blossom at her own pace. She can be shy and reserved when meeting new people, but once you’ve earned her trust, she becomes a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to her people.Twiggy would be happiest in a quiet home with a senior or older couple who can provide a calm, predictable environment. She has done well with house training and sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, often choosing to relax there during the day because it’s her safe space. She walks nicely on a harness and leash, although she sometimes needs a little encouragement when heading out.While Twiggy has lived with cats and can coexist peacefully after a proper introduction, she can be selective with other dogs and occasionally growls around them. For that reason, we feel she could thrive as the only pet where she can soak up all the love and attention.She has a few adorable quirks that make her extra special. When she’s excited, she runs happy little circles, and she absolutely loves being brushed. A couple of daily walks and time spent with her family are all she needs to be content.Because Twiggy can be timid and is considered a flight risk, her future family will need to be diligent about keeping her safely leashed and securely contained during the adjustment period.If you’re looking for a loyal companion and understand that the best relationships take a little time to grow, Twiggy just might be your perfect match.
