My story

AGE: 3 monthsSEX: FemaleBREED: Northern MixENERGY LEVEL: MediumDOG FRIENDLY: Yep!CAT FRIENDLY?: Yep!KID FRIENDLY?: Yep!Meet Dorothy! This confident, happy puppy is always ready for her next adventure. Dorothy loves exploring the world around her, playing with her foster puppy friend Keesha, and spending time with her people. She's already discovered a love for fetch and would happily chase a ball over and over again. When playtime is over, Dorothy is just as happy soaking up cuddles, pets, and affection from anyone willing to give them. It's safe to say Dorothy has found her way off the Yellow Brick Road and onto the runway - this little fashionista looks adorable in her crochet hats and bows. Friendly, social, and full of puppy charm, she has a wonderful balance of curiosity, confidence, and sweetness that makes her a joy to be around.Dorothy is wonderfully social and has done great meeting both people and other dogs. Given her young age, she would likely adapt well to a home with cats, dogs, and children. She currently lives in a suburban neighbourhood but has the confidence and easygoing nature to do well in a variety of environments, including a busier city. Dorothy is already showing how smart she is - she already knows sit and is learning her name. Like any young puppy, she's currently working on potty training, crate training, and learning how to walk nicely on a leash, and she's sure to continue thriving with positive reinforcement and consistency. As Dorothy continues to grow, she'll benefit from a family committed to helping her learn all the important puppy life skills. She can be somewhat vocal, occasionally crying or barking to let you know how she's feeling. She has also shown some resource guarding around food and special toys with other dogs, so feeding separately and managing high-value items will help set her up for success in a multi-dog home. With her playful spirit, loving personality, and eagerness to learn, Dorothy is sure to grow into a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a fun-loving puppy to share your adventures and your couch, Dorothy may be the perfect addition to your family!Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Dorothy?
