Playful & Affectionate BIO: - Potcake/Mixed Breed, 1.5 years old, Female (spayed)- Medium (47 lb), Medium-energy- Rescued as a young puppy by a dog rescue in Antigua - Godiva microchipped and has received her core vaccinations ABOUT GODIVA: - On walks, Godiva is a pleasure she stays nicely connected to her handler and is a real observer. A little sound sensitive, she is not crazy about busy traffic or loud noises - they can make her nervous- She is very playful and fun - she gets especially adorable when she`s playing with her toys, she gallops around showing off her goofy side- She can be shy at first with new people and strangers, but it doesn`t take long before her affectionate side emerges and she`s gently pawing for more attention and connectionGODIVAS IDEAL HOME:- Godiva would do well with a backyard (an elevator may be intimidating for her) and she loves running around outside and entertaining herself with her toys- Godiva would appreciate a calm environment where she can feel safe and supported as she settles in- Godiva was raised in the shelter along with many other dogs, she may do well with another pet in the home, if her adopter already has a pet we will arrange for a meet and greet- She could be good with older children that understand slower and calmer is betterGodiva is sweet, a little shy, and just one good human away from turning into your shadow!If you have any questions about Godiva, contact her Adoption Coordinator at: dog.adoption.coordinator.2@etobicokehumanesociety.com
