My story

Some dogs come into this world knowing what it feels like to be loved. Emilio wasn't one of them. At only three months old, this beautiful cream-coloured Lab mix was found alone on the streets of Mexico, sitting outside a food store. Tiny, hungry, and desperately searching for something to eat, Emilio was simply trying to survive. Starving and far too young to be on his own, he was rescued just in time. Today, that frightened little puppy has blossomed into a handsome boy, with a heart as big as his smile. Emilio is the definition of a gentle companion. He adores people and believes every hand is meant for petting. Whether it's women, men, or children, Emilio greets everyone with kindness and affection. He loves being close to his humans, soaking up every cuddle and every bit of attention he can get. He's wonderfully social with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine friend to play with, although he's equally happy being the center of someone's world. Cats are still a mystery to him, as he hasn't been tested. Emilio is house trained, walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and isn't reactive to people or other dogs. He's not a barker, isn't food aggressive, and has no destructive habits. Give him a toy-or even a simple plastic bottle-and you'll have one happy pup entertained for hours. With his medium energy level, Emilio enjoys playtime and walks but also appreciates relaxing beside the people he loves. He is currently working on his crate training and is doing well. A home with a yard would be wonderful for him, but with regular exercise and plenty of love, he could also adapt to apartment living. More than anything, Emilio is searching for what he's never truly had-a family to call his own. After surviving life on the streets, he deserves to know the comfort of a warm bed, full meals, gentle hands, and unconditional love. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart full of love to give, Emilio is waiting patiently for you. Good with women: Yes Good with men: Yes Good with kids: Yes Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown, he has not been tested House trained: Yes Crate trained: In progress Energy level: Medium energy Can be handled/touched: Yes, he is a piece of cake.
