My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Inu Age: About 5 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Shiba Inu Color: Brown Weight: 8kg / 17.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a municipal shelter after being placed on the euthanasia list, and that rescue gave me a precious second chance at life. Thanks to the kindness of the people who stepped in to help me, I now have the opportunity to look forward to a brighter future. I'm excited to find a loving forever family and begin the next chapter of my journey, filled with new adventures and happy memories.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Inu! I'm everything people love about Shibas wrapped up into one adorable package. I have the classic Shiba looks, a wonderful personality, and a friendly, easygoing nature that makes me a joy to be around. I absolutely love people and enjoy spending time with other dogs too, so making friends comes naturally to me. I'm a remarkably sweet and cooperative boy who takes life in stride. I'm small, handsome, and full of charm—honestly, most people fall in love with me the moment they meet me. If you're looking for a loving companion with all the charm of a Shiba and an extra helping of sweetness, I'd love to meet you!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love being around people! Whether we've known each other for years or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm happy to come over for attention, lean in for pets, and soak up all the affection you have to offer. I'm comfortable being gently picked up and enjoy being close to my people. Once we've become friends, I'll even roll over and show you my belly—a special sign of trust and affection. I haven't had the opportunity to meet children under 13 yet, so I'm still looking forward to discovering what they're like. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends! Whether we've known each other for a long time or we're meeting for the very first time, I'm always happy to walk over, say hello, and invite them to play. I'm especially comfortable around dogs who are bigger than me and tend to greet them with the same happy, confident attitude as everyone else. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring and going for walks. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm happy to settle down and relax by your side. I'm also an experienced walker with good leash manners, so I stay close to my person, follow well, and enjoy our adventures together without pulling on the leash.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from people or other dogs. I'm a quiet companion who rarely barks. When I'm in my kennel, I may whine a little because I'd rather be close to my people, but with reassurance and routine, I continue to grow more comfortable. I'm flexible with my potty habits and am comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going outside. I may be curious about marking when visiting new places, but with guidance and consistency, I can learn good habits in my new home.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES    INU'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2772838##
