My story

Meet Gus, a sweet, affectionate boy with a calm and gentle nature. During his Dog Day Out adventure at 99 Steps in the woods, Gus enjoyed a peaceful walk and showed just how easygoing and wonderful he can be in new environments.Gus is very good in the car, though he may need a little help getting in and out. On leash, he is a lovely walker-curious and engaged, with a bit of excitement for squirrels and chipmunks, but easily redirected with gentle guidance. He is calm, observant, and enjoys taking in the world around him.Gus is a shy but loving boy who appreciates slow introductions. Once comfortable, he quickly warms up and will happily roll over to show his belly, revealing his affectionate and trusting nature. He may be timid with new people at first, but he settles well and shows his sweet personality with time.He is untested with cats but has shown positive reactions toward other dogs and gets along well with Ryan, who is also available for adoption.If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who blossoms with patience and kindness, Gus may be your perfect match.
