My story

Caramel | Female | 5 years old | Dog-friendly and VERY People-friendly | GTA Sweet Caramel lives up to her name. Despite a difficult start in life, she is pure love and friendliness, and she has a joyful "just happy to be here" energy that's infectious. She likes other dogs and is excited to meet every human she encounters. She loves to spend time with her foster, but isn't clingy and is totally content to do her own thing when her people are occupied or out. She's also got the most gorgeous, soulful eyes with the most perfect eyeliner! Caramel is smart and ready to learn. She's got her name and housetraining down. Working on skills like leash walking, sitting, and recall is great for bonding, and will help Caramel settle in and learn the ropes of her new home. She is so sweet and wants to please her people. She would do well in a home with a fenced yard in a quieter area. She is fascinated by squirrels and LOVES to chase them and race around the yard with the dogs at her foster home. She could join a home with compatible dogs or be a solo dog. Caramel is a great energy level for all kinds of different adopters and families since she's playful and fun outside, but relaxed inside. She's equally down for hikes and couch time. This loving and happy dog deserves the very best home we can find her. She's lived the first five years of her life without a family to call her own, and is so happy to be in her foster home, and soon her forever home!
