My story

CEDAR, F/S, DSH, BROWN TABBYBORN JUNE 25 2025Cedarwood is said to lower stress, help with anxiety and encourage inner peace. We didn`t know it when we named her, but Cedar is the embodiment of this and more all wrapped up in an adorable tabby cat body. Cedar was rescued by Brian, who runs an amazing dog rescue, Tyson and Friends. She showed up on his rural property all alone and clearly looking for help. Thankfully she landed in the right spot, because she found an animal lover who quickly rescued her and brought her inside. When Cedar first came into our care, she was very timid and frightened. She would be described as semi-feral as it was obvious that she hadn`t had much, if any, human contact. Through positive interactions, perseverance and the help of some friendly foster kitties, Cedar has absolutely flourished. She is no longer the frightened and feral cat she once was. She is extremely loving and affectionate with her people. She has the loudest purr and the sweetest little chirp. She readily approaches for attention and absolutely adores the company of other cats. As she loves other cats, it is a must that she has another young, friendly and playful cat in her forever home. While Cedar has come leaps and bounds from where she once was, she can still be a bit shy with new people. She warms up pretty quickly though and is still continuously making progress every single day. Her confidence has grown tenfold and she`s becoming quite the social and confident little kitty. Cedar hasn`t had any exposure to young children, so she would do best in an adult home, or a home with older children. As mentioned above, she also requires a home with another kitty friend to bond with, or she would be happy to find a home with one of her foster kitty friends.Location: Foster Home

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cedar, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
