My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Nemo Age: About 6 Months Old (Born in December 2025)      Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White and Beige Weight: 10.6kg / 23lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY When I was just 2–3 weeks old, my mom was rescued after she was found wandering with a severe snare injury. As the weather was rapidly turning colder, my siblings and I were rescued alongside her so we could all stay safe together. Thanks to that timely rescue, we were given the chance to grow up surrounded by care and love. Now I'm ready to find a forever family and begin the next exciting chapter of my life.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I'm Nemo! I'm a gentle little pup with a sensitive heart, and while I can be a bit shy when we first meet, a little patience goes a long way with me. Once I realize you're kind, my sweet and affectionate side begins to shine—especially if you happen to have a few tasty treats! I also gain confidence from friendly dog friends and often feel more comfortable exploring new people and places when I have a calm friend by my side. Like many puppies, I'm still learning about the world and would thrive with positive puppy training to help me continue building confidence. With love, patience, and gentle guidance, I'll grow into a loyal, loving companion who will make every milestone we reach together feel incredibly rewarding.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting new people, and it takes me a bit of time to feel completely comfortable. I'll happily accept treats from someone I've just met, but I prefer to get to know you before I'm ready for pets. Once we've spent a few days together—sometimes up to a week—I begin to relax, trust you, and let my sweet personality shine. After we've built that bond, I'm comfortable being gently picked up and love sharing quiet moments with my favorite people. · With Dogs: I'm polite and enjoy saying hello to other dogs when we meet, though I'm usually more interested in greeting them than playing. I appreciate calm, respectful introductions, and I do best when first meetings are slow and positive. If another dog is overly pushy or confrontational, I may stand up for myself, so thoughtful introductions help me get off on the right paw. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I have a balanced energy level and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring the world. After I've had some exercise and fresh air, I'm more than happy to settle down and relax. I'm still gaining experience on walks, but I'm doing well and enjoy staying close to my person. I can be a little nervous in new situations and may occasionally bark at unfamiliar people, and I sometimes pull on the leash when I'm excited. With continued guidance and positive reinforcement, I'm becoming a more confident and wonderful walking companion every day.   TRAINING & HABITS I'm easygoing when it comes to mealtime and don't feel the need to guard my food from either people or other dogs. When I see unfamiliar people, I may bark at first because I like to let you know I'm feeling unsure, but with patience and kind introductions, I can learn to feel more comfortable. I'm calm and well-behaved in my kennel, which is a place where I can relax. Car rides are still a little scary for me, so I need a little help getting into the car, and I can get motion sickness on longer trips. Even though I ride quietly in my kennel, I may become carsick and vomit after about an hour of travel. I'm flexible with my potty habits and am comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES For my safety, my adoption requires that I wear a Tractive GPS tracker. It's an extra layer of protection to help keep me safe while I adjust to my new home and begin all of our adventures together.    NEMO'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2767390##
