My story

Loxley is a 4-year-old Kelpie/Red Heeler mix who is intelligent, loyal, and eager to be part of the family. He is house-trained, knows basic commands, and enjoys walks, playtime, and spending time with his people. He learns quickly and thrives with structure, routine, and regular activity.Loxley is affectionate with the people he trusts. Like many herding breeds, he has a strong prey drive and is reactive toward unfamiliar dogs and strangers. He also struggles around young children and has nipped when anxious or overstimulated. Because of this, he needs an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers.He would do best with an experienced owner who understands working breeds and can provide consistent boundaries, exercise, and continued training. Loxley has many great qualities and deserves a home where his needs are understood and he can thrive. We are committed to finding the right match for this special dog. (Will give collar, leash, toys, food with adoption)
