We truly appreciate your patience while we work through this issue — and thank you for wanting to help a rescue do — Loyal Rescue   I will be at the Pet Valu Meet & Greet, 705 Kingston Rd, Pickering this Sunday June 21 from 11:00am-1pm.  All applications will be reviewed after the event is over. Name/Tag#: Daisy 4273 Age: 4 years Sex/Altered: Female/Spayed Weight: 11lb Breed: Poodle Foster Home Location:  AJAX, ON Adoption Fee: $750.00 Temperament: Loving Activity/Energy Level: Moderate Up to date on Shots:  Yes Housebroken: Work in progress Crate Trained: Yes Ok with Dogs: Yes Ok with Cats: Not tested Ok with Kids: Unknow, but kids over 8 years should be OK Origin: Mass Breeding Facility Requirements: Securely fenced yard, someone home at least part time, companion dog in home, previous dog experience (mill experience and asset), no kids under 8 years.   And now, a few words from me: Everything is so new for me ! I can’t believe all the freedom I have & fantastic food. I’ve hit the jackpot! Still it’s a bit overwhelming and makes me a little nervous. The people around me seem like nice people & I’m learning to trust them more everyday. I just realized I’m called, “Daisy”, huh!   And now, a few words from my foster mom: Daisy is a sweet-faced, long-legged beauty with an inquisitive, friendly nature. She’s still very unsure about her new environment but is showing growing interest in treats, soft toys & beds. She is very interested in everything going on in the house, whether it’s people or dog related. Sometimes she gets a little too interested in her sibling’s business but is learning boundaries & respect. The backyard seems to be her happy place, where she races around & checks the garden. As her comfort grows with the harness & leash, I think she will thoroughly enjoy walks. She’s getting used to the noise, sounds & smells of the street by sitting in my lap on the front porch. It’s so cute to watch her experience, maybe for the first-time cyclers, cars & people on the street. The next step will be to try a few steps. When we first met Daisy she would not sit still long enough for us to give her any physical touch.  Now she enjoys gentle cuddling & touching, as her stress level lowers. I think that as her comfort grows, she will quickly learn the basics of walking & toilet training and become a loving wonderful family member. Questions?
