Life wasn't easy, and finding food, shelter, and safety was a constant challenge. Thankfully, rescuers saw us and stepped in to help. Because of their kindness, I was given a second chance at life and the opportunity to grow up in safety. Now, I'm ready to leave my past behind and find a forever family who will love, cherish, and guide me through all of life's adventures.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Despite my difficult start in life, I'm a sweet, friendly, and resilient girl who continues to see the good in the world. I get along well with both people and my dog friends, and I enjoy being part of the action without causing any fuss. I have a great appetite and plenty of confidence when it comes to mealtime. Even around my dog friends, I know how to hold my own and don't easily back down. My easygoing personality is actually how I got my name, Okay! I'm a chill girl who takes life as it comes and is generally okay with just about everything. With my friendly nature, relaxed attitude, and love for both people and dogs, I'm ready to bring lots of joy and companionship to a forever family of my own.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm super friendly with people and love receiving pets, affection, and attention. Being close to my humans is one of my favorite things, and I'm always excited to make new friends. I have a warm, social personality and enjoy spending time with people of all ages. I also allow myself to be picked up and handled with ease, making me an affectionate and easygoing companion. Whether it's cuddling, getting belly rubs, or simply staying close by your side, I'm happiest when I'm sharing time with the people I love. · With Dogs: I'm friendly with my dog friends and enjoy meeting new dogs. I have a social nature and generally get along well with other canine companions. While I enjoy making friends, I prefer calmer, more respectful greetings rather than overly excited introductions. I tend to get along best with dogs who have a similar energy level and play style to mine. With thoughtful introductions and compatible companions, I can build positive relationships and enjoy spending time with my dog friends. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit. During walks, I don’t pay much attention to cats and focus on my handler.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a lower energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I love going for walks and enjoy exploring the world by my person's side. I follow my handler's lead nicely and am a pleasant walking companion. I do not guard my food from people, although I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I'm a quiet girl who rarely barks and know how to rest calmly in my kennel when it's time to relax. Car rides can make me a little nervous, so I'll appreciate some extra reassurance, patience, and cuddles to help me feel safe and comfortable. For potty habits, I can use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors, giving my future family flexibility and a great foundation to build on.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
