Piper

My story

I am needing to rehome my 10 month old Chihuahua mix, Piper. She was just under 5 lbs when I got her and has grown to 21 lbs and a little more than I can handle. I am 66 years old with a very bad shoulder and lifting her is just too much. Thanks to my shoulder and knees, trying to play and keep active with her is not easy for me and she deserves better. She loves to sit on my lap but sometimes can be a little over protective of me when visitors come over. This is somewhat a problem, since my son is a Pastor and a lot of people are over to the house. She loves to play inside and outside and enjoys playing with my 3 teenaged grandkids. She loves fetch and tug of War. She uses a doggie door. She sleeps in her kennel all night in my bedroom. She goes in about 10 pm and never makes a peep until I get up. She is spayed and has had all her shots. Want to find her a loving home. I love her so much but I know this is the best thing for her and my family's situation since I now live with them.
