My story

Paisley is a sweet Shih Tzu female who came to our rescue as a stray. She had a ruptured eye that we had to have removed and we have no idea how it happened as it was already damaged when she was found. She is a Tiny thing at 8.4 pounds. She is estimated to be 6 years old. She’s good with other dogs and all people as far as we know (not tested with small children) Like many rescue dogs, we’re not sure how well housetrained Paisley is. However, with gentle guidance, consistency, structure, and praise, she should be easy to train. Paisley is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6–8 weeks. Adoption Fee: $450 This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need.
