My story

Sandor The Chillest Little Lovebug with the Cutest Tippy Taps Sandor is a 4-year-old Royal Bahamian Potcake with the sweetest, most gentle personality. He has settled beautifully into foster care and continues to gain confidence every day. This handsome boy is the definition of calm and content. He loves curling up in his bed with a chew, relaxing after a walk, and showing off his adorable "tippy taps" and happy little twirls when he's excitedespecially after bathroom breaks, his signature move. Sandor is house-trained with consistency, sleeps soundly through the night, and has excellent house manners. He is a low-maintenance companion who naturally knows how to settle and relax, making him a wonderful fit for a quieter home. He walks well on leash and has made great progress with the men in his foster home. One of his biggest recent accomplishments is that he now happily allows his foster dad to leash him up and take him for walks, a huge milestone for this sensitive boy. While he may still bark at men inside the home initially, he settles quickly and continues to show improvement as his confidence grows. Food-motivated and eager to please, Sandor responds well to positive reinforcement. He enjoys spending time with his people once he feels safe and has a gentle, affectionate nature. Sandor gets along well with dogs and cats and does not require another dog in the home, though he would likely enjoy a calm canine companion. He is still working on stairs and crate training. While traditional crates aren't his favorite, he does very well in an x-pen where he feels more secure and relaxed. Overall, Sandor is an easygoing, loyal companion looking for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Give him consistency, kindness, and a calm environment, and you'll be rewarded with a devoted best friend whose sweet personality shines brighter every day.
