In December 2019, the existence of Yumiwhose entire body had been subjected to horrific abusewas revealed to the public. The place Yumi was believed to have escaped from was the Siheung Dog Farm. Other animal organizations immediately began rescue efforts, but on Christmas Daya time that should have been peacefulthe farm owner secretly moved all the dogs to another rural facility. WEACT managed to track down where the dogs had been taken and, after persuading the owner, successfully brought them back.In the end, more than 60 dogs were rescued and saved. Most of the rescued dogs were left with severe trauma and deep emotional wounds caused by humans. Helping them heal required immense patience, courage, and unwavering commitment. Now, nearly seven years later, the dogs and WEACT have never given up and continue their journey to find loving families. Romeo is one of the dogs rescued from this site.Overall, Romeo is a well-mannered, handsome boy. He is a calm gentle soul who brings comfort just by staying close. Watching him slowly open up to someone who approaches him with patience is truly special. However, Romeo also loves heading out to the yard for a good run and enjoying his playful moments. Romeo is waiting for a family who can share a quiet, calm space and build trust slowly over time. He may need extra time to adjust to a new environment, so a family who can patiently move at his pace with unhurried love would be great. Name: Romeo (20260405-02)Weight: 46lbsAge: 7 years (Est.
