My story

Meet Jim, a cuddly 6-year-old cockapoo who weighs 25 pounds. If you're looking for a playful dog who loves people and gets along well with other dogs, Jim would be a great fit. He welcomes visitors with a wagging tail and belly rub requests, quickly warming the hearts of everyone he meets. When greeting and sharing spaces with other dogs, he is friendly, calm, and relaxed. Jim loves to play, especially fetch, and he catches balls with impressive ease. He also has a calm side and is perfectly content relaxing in his bed or snuggling beside you while you work. He enjoys walks and adventures, taking in every chance to sniff and explore. Jim is great in the car and likes watching the world go by from the window throughout the journey. Jim can be a bit impatient with toddlers, so he would do best in a home with older children or adults. Although he is usually quiet, he does bark at doorbells, whether they are real or on TV. He may also bark at sounds he hears when he cannot see where they are coming from, so a condo or apartment may not be the ideal home for him. If you're looking for a loyal dog who will happily sleep on the bed and snuggle with you on the couch, please consider adopting Jim. He will bring warmth, joy, and companionship to your life.   June 12, 2026, 8:06 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jim, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
