As a big, enthusiastic boy, Loki can sometimes be a bit jumpy or pushy when he gets excited, so any children in the home should be confident and able to handle his size and energy. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible. But his new family should be ready and committed to working on some challenging behaviors, such as jumping up.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least one in-person training session to work on socialization, basic training and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Loki is very human social and energetic.
