My story

Pearl is a super sweet 7‑year‑old purebred English Labrador Retriever with papers and excellent health. Her owner is leaving the country to live in an ashram and, with great sadness, is seeking a home where Pearl will be cherished.Exceptionally affectionate and people‑oriented — she’ll follow you from room to room just to be near you.Very intelligent and eager to please. She learns quickly and often picks up new behaviors simply by watching you.Trained in basic commands and is accustomed to staying off furniture.Friendly with children of all ages, other dogs, and cats (tends toward submissiveness).Loves to play fetch and her toys (ball obsessed). Not a big barker — only speaks up when something is off (ie coyote or creepy person).Has enough energy to keep up with an active lifestyle but is also perfectly content relaxing at home.Excellent off‑leash manners — she stays right by your side. Her biggest requirement is simply being with her people. She is sad if left alone often/long periods.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pearl, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
