My story

🚨 WANTED: A Forever Home for Officer Badge 🚨 Meet Badge — the newest recruit from the Hamilton Police Services “Paw-trol Division!” Badge was picked up as a stray alongside his sister, but don’t let his rough start fool you… this sweet suspect is guilty of stealing hearts, accepting unlimited belly rubs, and causing excessive smiling in public places. At approximately 6 months old, Badge is a young Bully mix cadet with energy levels that can only be described as “high-speed pursuit.” This happy boy loves hanging out with his caregivers and is always ready to report for cuddle duty. While he may act a little “undercover” when meeting new people or entering unfamiliar situations, with patience, confidence-building, and positive socialization, Badge is expected to graduate top of his class in Companion Excellence. ⚖️ Badge’s Rap Sheet Includes: Public displays of affection Possession of zoomies with intent to distribute Resisting naps Excessive tail wagging Attempted theft of all squeaky toys As a growing puppy, Badge needs plenty of mental and physical exercise to keep him out of puppy mischief. Daily walks, training sessions, enrichment games, and playtime are all part of this officer’s recommended patrol schedule. If left without enough activity, he may resort to unauthorized snack investigations and rogue sock confiscations. 👮 Training Academy Notes: Badge is smart, eager to learn, and responds best to positive reinforcement — treats, praise, and consistency are basically his preferred currency. He’s currently accepting applications for a family willing to help him learn important life skills like leash manners, confidence, and proper “paw-cedure.” Socialization will be Badge’s top assignment as he grows. Exposure to new people, places, and experiences will help this rookie become a confident, well-rounded canine citizen. Puppy classes or supervised doggy meetups would be excellent backup units for his continued development. 💙 If you’re looking for a loyal partner, certified cuddle accomplice, and four-legged best friend who’s ready to protect and serve your household with unconditional love, Badge may be your perfect match. 📢 Case Status: Still at large… for your heart. Animal adoptions and viewing are by appointment only. This allows our Adoption Staff to spend quality time with each potential home to ensure the most successful matches are made between the animals and their new families. Applications can be filled at the link below: https://www.hamilton.ca/home-neighbourhood/animals-pets/adopt-or-foster-pet/adoptions *Please note: we only adopt within Ontario

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Badge, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
