My story

Meet Agatha! Agatha joins our rescue from Pinal County Animal Care & Control where she was originally found as a stray back in November 2025. She went continuously overlooked, but has really come so far and deserves a fair shot at a happy life. Agatha can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she has already started to let her walls down to show her sweet, goofy personality. She loves to run around the yard showing off the cutest zoomies and then come in for some light affection. Agatha shines as she continues to build her confidence and show her different amazing personality traits. Agatha walks well on leash and makes a great walking buddy. She knows basic commands but would benefit from someone who can continue to teach her the basics. Agatha has notes of doing well with other dogs — male and female both big and on the smaller side — and loves to play. She has been around children in the past that understand and respect boundaries. Agatha would do best in a home that can provide structure, routine and continued confidence building and training. She needs a home that will allow her to decompress and build trust. Agatha has previous notes of being nervous around men, so she needs someone who can be patient and understanding of her time to build that bond. Apply and make Agatha a part of your family today!
