My story

Wilder is a five-year-old Great Dane with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He recently came to Big Hearts for Big Breeds through no fault of his own after his family faced a move and was unfortunately unable to take him along. While that chapter of his life has come to an end, we're determined to help him find the forever home he deserves. Wilder is the definition of easygoing. He is wonderful with kids, great with other dogs, and happiest when he's surrounded by people who love him. He isn't looking for adventure or excitement—just a soft place to land, a comfortable spot to relax, and a family to call his own. Some dogs arrive in rescue with larger-than-life personalities. Wilder came in quietly, carrying himself with the patience and grace of a dog who simply hopes someone will choose him again. Beneath those soulful eyes is a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be part of a family and share life's everyday moments.
