Orion

My story

Orion is a 2½-year-old Great Dane who proves that sometimes "giant breed" is an understatement. This handsome boy is all legs, personality, and larger-than-life puppy energy. Now in the care of Big Hearts for Big Breeds, Orion is looking for a family ready to help him channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the best companion he can be. Despite his age, Orion is very much a giant puppy at heart. He approaches life with excitement, curiosity, and a zest for adventure that keeps everyone on their toes. As he settles into rescue, he is working on leash training, crate training, and house training, and he’ll need a home committed to continuing his education with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. We are still learning more about Orion's compatibility with other dogs, cats, and children, so those evaluations are ongoing. What we do know is that he is a big, lovable Dane with tremendous potential and a bright future ahead of him. Orion is looking for a family that understands giant breeds and is ready to embrace both the challenges and rewards that come with a young, energetic Great Dane. With guidance, structure, and plenty of love, this oversized goofball is sure to grow into an incredible companion.
