My story

Some dogs come into rescue and leave you speechless. Raleigh is one of those dogs. A dog this devoted, loving, and genuinely good dog being discarded like trash is truly incomprehensible. This handsome boy came to us from Pinal County after being found wandering as a stray just down the street from the place he once called home. When his previous owners were contacted, they chose not to take him back. It's heartbreaking and hard to understand how a dog as wonderful as Raleigh could be left behind, but their loss has truly been our gain. Raleigh is the kind of dog who makes an impression on everyone he meets. He has an old soul about him. Steady, loyal, gentle, and endlessly devoted to his people. He's the dog who wants to be by your side through life's adventures and quiet moments alike. The dog who looks at you like you're his whole world. And while he carries himself with wisdom beyond his years, he still knows how to have fun. Give him a tennis ball and watch his playful side come to life. Playing fetch is one of his favorite things in the world, second only to spending time with the people he loves. What Raleigh wants most isn't a yard, a ball, or a bed. He wants his person. Someone who will cherish him the way he deserves to be cherished. Someone who won't leave him behind.
