My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Kiwi Age: Estimated to be born on February 6th 2026 (Around 4 months old) Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mama and I were neglected and had to endure some very difficult living conditions. Thankfully, kind-hearted people noticed our situation and stepped in to help, giving us the chance at a brighter future. Now, I'm safe, loved, and ready to find a forever family of my own! Oh, and I’m not the only lucky one—I’m siblings with Lime, Lemon, and Papaya, and together we've been getting a fresh start on life.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super sweet pup who reads the room surprisingly well for my age. I’m very friendly with people and am even smaller in real life than I look in photos! Many volunteers and staff are surprised to learn I’m a boy because they often think I’m a girl at first glance thanks to my pretty looks. I’m highly responsive to training and eager to learn, and once I feel comfortable, my affectionate and loving personality really shines through.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but my curiosity usually helps me warm up quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I happily accept pets and enjoy spending time with my humans. As a young pup, I’m still learning about the world around me and gaining confidence every day. I’m gentle and easygoing, and I even allow myself to be picked up without any fuss. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends and get along well with the other dogs at the care facility, but I'm definitely more of a people-oriented pup at heart. When meeting dogs for the first time, I prefer to take things at my own pace rather than jumping straight into play. I like to explore my surroundings and get a feel for my environment first. I have a calm, thoughtful personality and tend to be a peacemaker—I’m good at avoiding drama and know how to disengage from conflicts rather than getting involved. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS As a young pup, I’m still learning my leash manners and making great progress every day. I’m continuing my socialization training and gaining confidence as I experience new things. I don’t guard my food from people, but I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. Sometimes I’ll attention bark when I want something, but I settle down fairly quickly. I’m also learning how to relax calmly in my kennel and am improving with practice. For potty habits, I use both pee pads indoors and go potty outdoors as well, giving my future family a good foundation to build on.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I’m still a young pup and willing to be patient and continue my socialization training   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff often tell me I’m the most well-rounded of my siblings. I’m a sweet, thoughtful boy with a gentle heart, and I’ve been winning people over everywhere I go. I’m still young and learning, but I’m already showing what a wonderful companion I can be. Now all I need is a loving forever family to continue my journey with. I know they’re out there somewhere, and I can’t wait to find them.   KIWI'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2751165##
