My siblings—Lemon, Lime, Kiwi, and I—spent our earliest days together, knowing only each other and our mom. Before that could become our whole world, kind people stepped in to help us. Together, we were brought to safety and given the chance to grow up surrounded by care. Now I'm discovering new things every day, from soft beds to gentle hands and exciting adventures. With a happy heart and a curious spirit, I'm ready to see where life takes me next.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Papaya. I’m a bright-eyed, clever pup with a happy heart and a natural ability to connect with people. I enjoy being around people, love spending time together, and pay close attention to the people I trust. I’m a smart little dog who learns quickly and often surprises people with how focused I can be. Whether it’s practicing “sit,” “wait,” or figuring out what you’re asking of me, I genuinely enjoy engaging with my person. I also get along well with other dogs and have a gentle, easygoing nature that makes me a pleasant companion. One of my favorite things in the world is toys. Give me something fun to carry, chase, or play with, and I’m one happy puppy! If you’re looking for a sweet, intelligent puppy with expressive eyes, a loving personality, and lots of potential, I’d love to share my adventures and everyday moments with you.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people—I’ll happily walk up, lean in for attention, and enjoy gentle touch, even from someone I’ve just met. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which makes everyday moments together feel easy, warm, and close. · With Dogs: I’m polite and friendly when meeting unfamiliar dogs, usually walking up to say hello with calm curiosity. While I enjoy social introductions, I don’t always feel the need to turn them into playtime and am often content to simply greet a dog and continue on my way. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring at a comfortable pace, then settling down quietly once I’ve had my fun. Walks come naturally to me—I move calmly on leash, stay nicely connected to my person, and make an easy, relaxed companion for everyday adventures.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m gentle and trusting with people around my food and feel comfortable sharing space during mealtimes. Around other dogs, I prefer having a little personal space while eating and may quietly communicate that boundary if another dog comes too close. I’ll use my voice from time to time to let you know when I want something. I’m adaptable with my routine, comfortably using both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom breaks depending on the situation.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
