My story

Ella is a beautiful 7-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. After arriving in our care with sore, torn paws, it was clear this sweet girl had been through a lot — yet she has remained calm, kind, and affectionate every step of the way. Ella loves being close to her people and is happiest enjoying quiet companionship, peaceful walks, and cozy evenings at home. She already knows “sit” and “paw,” walks nicely on leash, and has wonderful manners both in and out of her kennel. She may do well with another calm dog after slow introductions, and she’s looking for a loving home where she can finally feel safe, comfortable, and cherished. If you’re searching for a loyal, gentle companion, Ella may be your perfect match. Animal adoptions and viewing are by appointment only. This allows our Adoption Staff to spend quality time with each potential home to ensure the most successful matches are made between the animals and their new families.
