My story

Appointments needed. If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Bennett may be your perfect match! This sweet, affectionate boy is happiest when he's with his people. Whether you're relaxing at home, working, going for a walk, or taking a car ride, Bennett is always excited to be included. Bennett is a true Velcro dog who loves to cuddle and will happily follow you from room to room just to be close. He's great with other dogs, enjoys jerky treats and crunchy carrots, and is just as happy napping at your feet as he is heading out on an adventure. He's potty trained, doggie-door trained, and has settled nicely into a home routine. Bennett is still polishing up his manners when he gets excited, but he's made wonderful progress and continues to improve with patient, consistent guidance. Because Bennett loves being with his people, he'd thrive in a home where someone is around much of the day or can include him in everyday life. He would do best in a home without young children, as they can make him feel a little unsure. Adults or older, respectful, dog-savvy teens would be the best fit for this loving boy.
