My story

Meet Comet! This handsome guy may take a little time to warm up to new people, but with some patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, he quickly becomes a loyal best friend. Comet loves getting out for walks and exploring the world around him, but he`s just as happy curling next to his favorite humans. With his happy-go-lucky personality and affectionate personality, Comet is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and snuggle bug. Whether you`re looking for a dog to join you on outings or a loving friend to relax with at home, Comet could be the dog for you. If you`re interested in welcoming Comet into your family, please fill out an application or come visit him at the Kitchener Centre!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:55 lbsHOME TYPE:No large or busy apartments due to being vocal and can be shy/timid.CHILDREN:Yes- Younger children with large dog experience potentially compatibleCATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High- Will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible.
