Meet Comet! This handsome guy may take a little time to warm up to new people, but with some patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, he quickly becomes a loyal best friend. Comet loves getting out for walks and exploring the world around him, but he`s just as happy curling next to his favorite humans. With his happy-go-lucky personality and affectionate personality, Comet is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and snuggle bug. Whether you`re looking for a dog to join you on outings or a loving friend to relax with at home, Comet could be the dog for you. If you`re interested in welcoming Comet into your family, please fill out an application or come visit him at the Kitchener Centre!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:55 lbsHOME TYPE:House or Townhouse- No apartments due to being vocal.CHILDREN:No- Comet can be touch sensitive and has general anxiety. He would not be well suited to a home with children. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High- Will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:Comet may be suitable for a first-time dog owner who is prepared to invest time and patience into helping him succeed.
