Meet Annie, a beautiful Akita Inu with a smart mind and energy to spare! This lovely girl is always ready for her next adventure, whether that’s exploring the outdoors or spending quality time with her favourite people. Annie is an intelligent dog who enjoys staying active and engaged, and she would thrive in a home that can keep both her body and mind busy. Along with her playful and energetic side, Annie has a very loving nature and enjoys forming strong bonds with the people she trusts. She’s looking for a family that will appreciate her bright personality and give her the guidance, exercise, and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who is equal parts fun and sweet, Annie may be the perfect fit for you!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:40 lbs. HOME TYPE:House or Townhouse- Annie can be vocal at times so would not do well with shared walls.CHILDREN:Yes- Older children potentially compatible.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible as long as familiar with breed specific behaviour (previous experience or research).TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:Training recommended to work on socialization, basic training, manners and separation anxiety. HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social. She is a very smart girl! She can also be stubborn at times.
