My story

Green Goddess is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet her during open hours! Green Goddess came to us with her momma, Ensalada, and her 7 siblings from Texas in mid- April at just 3 weeks old. Ensalada and her pups arrived in rough shape, they were flea infested and anemic. Thankfully, they recovered in no time and are now healthy and ready to find their forever homes! Green Goddess is sweet, spice, and everything nice! She is a little shadow that will follow you around and wants to soak up love, but she is also ready to cause some puppy trouble whenever she gets a chance! She is so inquisitive and ready to take on the world, we just know she is going to grow up to be a dog that loves adventure. Green Goddess was able to go to temporary foster while we were closed to the public Monday-Thursday. Her foster mom writes, "She is loving the attention she gets and really enjoys belly rubs after some playtime. She picked up on potty training very quickly and will come running for a treat. She is very smart and bold and would love to find a home that will take her on adventures with them while teaching her new things!" If you are looking for a pup to keep you on your toes and be your adventure companion, she's your pup! Green Goddess' adoption fee is $450. This animal is spayed, and is up to date on core vaccines appropriate for their age. They will need a rabies vaccine at 4 months of age and a Heartworm test between 6-7 months of age at the adopter's own vet. Since she is a puppy, any adopter should anticipate needing to work on housebreaking and other training using positive reinforcement training only.
