My story

*Note: Currently Jetti is in Korea but will be arriving in Toronto once adopted. For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click here.BackgroundJetti was rescued from a puppy mill in Boryeong, Korea in the summer of 2023. After her rescue, she was taken in by a local shelter, but she was overlooked because she wasn’t a puppy anymore. Throughout her stay, no one came forward for her. When we learned about her situation, we knew that a girl as sweet and beautiful as Jetti deserved far better, and that her perfect family was out there somewhere. Jetti has since moved to our partner boarding house, where she lives alongside other dogs and gets along with them wonderfully.Personality and SocializationJetti has a gentle temperament and a moderate energy level. She is calm, easygoing, and pleasant to be around. She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes very affectionate. Jetti approaches both people and dogs in a quiet and friendly way. She loves being close to her people and feels happiest in a peaceful and relaxed home.Around other dogs, she is calm and mild mannered. She gets along best with smaller and gentle dogs. She is not very interested in playing and prefers to relax quietly with other dogs nearby.Jetti could be a good match for someone with a senior dog or a sensitive and cautious dog looking for a calm second companion. She enjoys a peaceful and quiet environment.BehaviourJetti handles vet visits calmly, walks well on leash, and tolerates baths without fuss. Car rides are no problem for her either. She is pee pad trained and also goes potty outside. Overall, she is a quiet, easygoing girl with a very settled nature.Health and DietJetti is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. She is healthy and ready for her forever home. Jetti eats kibble and is doing well on her current diet.Ideal HomeJetti is an easygoing and lovely girl who fits naturally into a quiet, relaxed lifestyle. She would thrive with a family who works from home or is retired. Someone who enjoys a slower pace and has plenty of time to spend with their dog. Her ideal person is one who brings their dog along wherever they go, making Jetti a true part of their everyday life.Jetti could also be a good match for someone with a senior dog or a sensitive and cautious dog looking for a calm second companion. She enjoys a peaceful and quiet environment. She is a devoted little girl who thrives on closeness with her people. Jetti’s quiet warmth and gentle affection make her truly special. Whoever welcomes her home will find themselves with a loyal and loving companion by their side.*Note: Currently Jetti is in Korea but will be arriving in Toronto once adopted. For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click here.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jetti, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
