My story

My husband found this boy wandering our apartment parking area before Memorial weekend. We decided to take him with us for a family gathering in Utah. He handled the hours of travel and being around a large group, another dog, and was even very friendly. We had no accidents and he peed/pooped outside and immediately thought he was a country dog. He's so SMART and will be easy to train. I think someone probably abandoned him because they couldn't keep him in an apartment or afford him. He will be the most loyal good boy and I would pay for someone to give him a good home. If I wasn't in an apartment myself, he would already have a home. It's unclear if he's neutered or just young. The vet couldn't find a microchip. I've had him on the lost pet sites for a almost a week. I really, really don't want to take him to Maricopa Animal Control but the local rescues and Humane Society have referred me there because they think he'll be adopted out. But, he'd be traumatized and may get sick.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Atticus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
